'table for one' is a nine monitor video dinner party which depicts the sense of isolation and alienation that can be experienced in a social situation even while surrounded by people. All the characters, though involved in synchronised conversations, were shot alone with no context or knowledge of the other guests, and are presented boxed into their own monitor to heighten the sense of social solitude.
