4-channel video installation presented at Berlin's Transartfest Art Biennial
10 mins., looped

The four-channel installation is presented on three adjacent screens and one separate monitor. The piece can also be shown as a single-channel projection of the three adjacent screens. The visuals focus on repetitive mundane chores within a domestic space where the familiar surroundings transform into oppressive hypnotic patterns. The abstract perspective on a ceiling lampshade or the pattern of a rug pushes the household objects to take on a life of their own, becoming a restrictive routine that binds and separates the individual from society as delusions manifest into a metaphoric imprisonment. The soundscape created by the artist is an important part of the video environment synchronised across six speakers positioned to completely surround the space and anyone who enters.
